NEW YORK — The New York Giants announced Wednesday that QB Ryan Griffin will not play in Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills after suffering a right shoulder injury.
The Jets also announced that RB Rashad Jennings will miss his fourth straight game with a left ankle sprain.
The Giants have won three straight games in the series with the Bills.
Griffin is 4-4 in his last five starts.
He threw for 1,957 yards, 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2016.
The Jets are 2-3 against the Bills this season.
In the Jets’ previous meeting with Buffalo, QB Bryce Petty completed 13 of 16 passes for 158 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
In that contest, the Jets threw a season-high six interceptions in the first half.
